Meet Our Instructors!

Amaka Amalu, PE

Amaka is a passionate Mechanical Engineer and a dedicated STEM advocate for youth. With over 16 years of experience, she has been instrumental in leading STEM workshops as the founder of an award-winning nonprofit focused on empowering underserved girls in South Florida. Her workshops, consistently rated A++ by students, emphasize making learning fun and engaging, a principle that inspired her own journey into the STEM field.

Amaka's goal is to ignite a love for STEM in the kids she works with, being a role model and helping them discover the joy and excitement that comes with exploring science, technology, engineering, and math.

Nashira Taylor

 Nashira was born and raised on the vibrant island of Curaçao. She moved to the Netherlands at the age of 19, where she spent over a decade. During this time, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economics and built a successful career in HR and recruitment, gaining nine years of experience as a recruiter and HR officer.
Love brought her to Miami, where she married her husband Jason and embraced a new chapter in both her personal and professional life. This transition sparked a career change, and she found her true calling in the field of education. She started her journey as a STEM teacher, has impacted over 300 students and is loving every moment of it.
